FORTNITE servers have gone down forward of a new update causing chaos for players.
Matchmaking was suspended at 8:30am ahead of immediately's downtime.
Fortnite posted on X, previously referred to as Twitter, saying: "Nothing to see right here…Downtime will start at 4:00 AM ET, with matchmaking being disabled shortly beforehand."
It isn't recognized how long the downtime will last but players can anticipate to wait a couple of hours.
