Liverpool defender Conor Bradley is mourning the dying of his father.
Joe Bradley, 58, handed away on Saturday morning and had been unwell for weeks.
Conor Bradley has been a standout performer for Liverpool since he was given a run of games within the group final month.
The 20-year-old was named man of the match for his display within the 4-1 victory over Chelsea on Wednesday evening.
A press release from Liverpool read: 'Liverpool FC is deeply saddened by the dying of Conor Bradley's father, Joe, immediately.
'The ideas of everyone on the membership are with Conor and all the Bradley household at this very troublesome and unhappy time.
'On behalf of Conor, LFC strongly urges that the household's privateness is absolutely revered presently.'
In the meantime, Dungannon supervisor Rodney McAree has revealed that the Liverpool defender's father had given his son 'sound recommendation' about his career.
'For Conor, going from the highs where he has been – making his league debut, scoring his first aim and aiding so many objectives – to the devastating news that we heard as we speak could be very troublesome,' McAree advised the Belfast Telegraph.

'It is an awfully unhappy time for Conor and his household and they are in our ideas.
'His mum and pop have given Conor really sound advice through the years.
'Conor is a robust boy however to lose your father can't be straightforward, so we're considering of him and Linda at this stage.'
