Maine's Dem governor splashes $50k on nursing bras for 'chestfeeding birthing parents'
Maine's Democrat governor is using $50,000 in taxpayer money to provide nursing bras to breastfeeding and 'chestfeeding' parents on welfare. Governor Janet Mills, 76, and her administration have allocated the funds to purchase Nursing Naturals nursing bras for parents participating in the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) program in the state, according to Maine Wire. Both cisgender women who are breastfeeding and transgender women who are chestfeeding will be eligible for the bras via the program.
