Son is arrested for exhuming his mother's body from her grave and driving her coffin home
A man has been arrested for removing his mum's body from her grave at a Spanish cemetery and driving her coffin home in his car. He told an investigating judge today after spending a night in a police cell that he just wanted to check she was really gone because her death three days earlier had occurred so suddenly. He was examined by a psychiatrist following his detention yesterday who concluded there was no reason to admit him to hospital and ruled he could be hauled to court.
