President Donald Trump is using violent lyrics spouted by pro-Kamala Harris rapper Eminem as part of his January 6 defense. Law & Crime reported Monday on Trump's move to have a federal court toss out a civil lawsuit filed against him by Democratic members of Congress, including former chairman of the January 6 select committee, Rep. Bennie Thompson and California Rep. Barbara Lee. They claim Trump violated the Ku Klux Klan Act of 1871, which bars mob violence against federal officials, due to his actions on January 6, 2021.
