Democrats mercilessly mocked for Trump protests
Democrats were mercilessly mocked for their protests during president Donald Trump's address to congress on Tuesday. Most Democrats remained seated without applauding or making eye contact with Trump as he was introduced in the chamber. Some of them held up circular signs like 'Save Medicaid' during Trump's remarks and others walked out in protest. 'Trump seemed relaxed. He had, I think, a better night than the Democrats. They were just, I guess, everybody left to their own,' historian Douglas Brinkley told CNN.
