Netflix co-founder buys Utah MOUNTAIN and reveals ultra-elitist plan for it
Netflix co-founder Reed Hastings revealed his ultra-elitist plans for a private ski club atop a Utah mountain after buying the towering peak himself. Hastings hopes to enlist hundreds of homeowners to join him in living on Powder Mountain, about 60 miles north of Salt lake City, with property owners getting exclusive access to the ski area. The billionaire bought a controlling interest in the mountain, which has about 8,000 acres of skiable land, in 2023 for an undisclosed amount, the Wall Street Journal reported.
