Al Pacino is not married, despite the actor wearing what appeared to be a wedding band when he stepped out at an event this week, PEOPLE can confirm

Despite wearing what appeared to be a wedding band when he stepped out at an event forLeonardo DiCaprio'sOne Battle After Anotherthis week, PEOPLE can confirm the actor, 85, has not wed.
"Al Pacino is not married," a representative for the star tells PEOPLE.
Pacino sparked marriage rumors at the Los Angeles gathering on Thursday, Dec. 4, as he posed for photos with DiCaprio, 51,Teyana Taylorand others with a gold band on his finger.
In his snapshot with theTitanicstar, Pacino smiled and wrapped his arms around DiCaprio, and in his photograph with Taylor, 34, theAcademy Award winnerheld a drink, similarly putting his hand in the camera's frame.

Pacino has had many high-profile relationships over the years, including ones withBeverly D'Angelo, Tuesday Weld and Jill Clayburgh, plus the lateDiane Keaton.
He was most recently romantically linked toNoor Alfallah, with whom he shares a son,Roman Pacino, who was born in June 2023. (The star's rep told PEOPLE in October 2024, "Al and Noor are very good friends, have been for years, and are co-parents to their son Roman.)
In addition to Roman, Pacino is also a dad ofthree adult children: daughter Julia, whom he welcomed with acting coach Jan Tarrant, and twins Anton and Olivia, whom he shares with D'Angelo, 74.

Speaking about marriage with theBoston Heraldin 2015, Pacino said, "Of course, it's possible [I'll get married]. It seems beside the point, though. I have no idea, but I never say never."
