“Dancing with the Stars”' Ezra Sosa Responds to Rumors He's Secretly Engaged to Jordan Chiles

Ezra Sosais having a little fun with rumors that he andDancing with the StarspartnerJordan Chilesare headed to the altar.

In a Dec. 28TikTok video, the 25-year-old dance pro shared a screenshot of an online article claiming he and the Olympic gymnast, 24, were secretly engaged. A shirtless Sosa — whopublicly came outas gay in 2022 — smirks, slips on a pair of black sunglasses and blows a kiss to the camera in the clip.

He captioned the video, "Plot twist of the mf century."

Sosa and gold medalist Chiles werepartnered upfor season 34 ofDWTS. They finished in third place, behindAlix EarleandVal Chermkovskiyin second andRobert IrwinandWitney Carsonin first.

Last month, Sosa and Chiles spoke exclusively to PEOPLE about the duo's standout performance inDWTS' Nov. 18 episode, which earned them a perfect 30/30 score. At the time, Chiles also shared how supportive Sosa had been throughout her experience competing on the long-running show.

"That's my first perfect score in anything," Chiles quipped. "And I'm so happy it was onDancing with the Stars. Now I actually feel more confident in myself of getting a perfect score in my sport, which is pretty crazy to say."

Praising Sosa, she said, "He is such an amazing partner. Words can't describe the journey that we've been on, and so I just have to say, thanks for always being there by my side."

"Literally through the ups, through the downs, through everything that we've gone through. And now, my guy, you made it to the finale, and we got a perfect score," she added.

In an Oct. 10Instagram video, Sosa defended Chiles against claims she was a "mean girl," saying that "could not be further from the truth." In the clip, he told Chiles, "I'll always have your back," and described the pair's dynamic as "very much a brother and sister."

"It just breaks my heart because that's not my experience with her at all," he continued of the rumors about her personality.

"She is truly a remarkable person, and I'm so, so grateful that she came into my life," Sosa said. "We're allowed to be our own individual selves, and sometimes our dynamic may not be everyone's cup of tea, but it is certainly mine, and we're on this journey together and it is so special."
