PEOPLE's former Sexiest Man Alive, 53, has now been immortalized in wax form at Madame Tussauds London, the museum revealed on Dec. 19.

The English actor expressed disbelief upon laying eyes on his wax figure in an Instagram video shared by the museum. At one point, theacclaimedLutheralumandMarvel Cinematic Universestar called his mom, Eve.

"I am speechless literally. Wow. Hold on, I've got to call my mum. She's gonna freak," he said, before connecting with Eve on FaceTime.

His mom replied on the phone, "Oh, my God!"

His wax figure is dressed in an outfit that he wore in July 2024 whenIdris met with King Charlesto discuss youth violent crime andThe King's Trust.

While he was nearly speechless at the museum, the activist later issued a statement about working with Madame Tussauds London on the figure.

"It's truly an honour to be recognised in this way and even more special to know this other version of me will be standing tall in London," he said. "So, even when I'm away, a part of me is always at home."

Themusicianadded, "The process has been fascinating. It's not dissimilar to prepping for a movie role — working with talented artists to flesh out the character, getting the costume just right, but this time it's for me!"
