Megyn Kelly Says She's Prayed to Charlie Kirk 'So Many Times' to Give Her 'Guidance' After His Death

Megyn Kellysaid there are times when she still looks to the late right-wing activistCharlie Kirkfor advice followinghis death in September.

Speaking to far-right activist Jack Posobiecat Turning Point USA's AmericaFestin Phoenix on Friday, Dec. 19, Kelly, 55, mentionedErika Kirk's recent sit-down with conservative podcaster Candace Owens, claiming that Erika had called her to ask if she wanted to moderate the conversation.

Erika, 37, and Owens, 36,met on Monday, Dec. 15, and ended up having a 4 1/2-hour-long discussion, the latter sharedon Xat the time. In recent months, Owens has been sharing multiple conspiracy theories about who was responsible for Charlie's death, which has allegedly caused a rift between the two, perCNN.

Kelly spoke about the supposed "feud" between Erika and Owens during herSiriusXM showlast week, insisting, "It's been going on now for a while," before giving her take on the whole thing.

She then said during Friday's TPUSA event, "I've prayed so many times to Charlie, and to God, to give me the right guidance on how to handle this whole thing..." mentioning that there has been a "fracture" within the conservative party amid the tensions.

Earlier in her Q&A with Posobiec, Kelly paid tribute to Charlie, saying, "I miss him so much … he was always so great."

"He always knew exactly what question to ask, how to get you up and down in a story. He had a very good judgment for what was interesting to the audience too and was always so generous with his time and, you know, his approach," Kelly continued.

The political commentator went on, "So that of course I'm going to miss, but I can't believe it's been three months. In some ways it feels like yesterday and in some ways it feels like another lifetime that we've seen him, right?"

TPUSA's AmericaFest event began on Thursday, Dec. 18, and concluded on Sunday, Dec. 21.

Ahead of the conference, arecreation of the boothin which TPUSA founder, Charlie, was shot and killed, was installed as a photo op for attendees.

At the time he was fatally shot on Sept. 10, the 31-year-old was manning his signature "Prove Me Wrong" table as part of his American Comeback Tour at Utah Valley University.

Brandy Zadrozny ofMS NOWreported from the conference, "This is a recreation of the tent where Charlie Kirk lost his life at Utah Valley University in September, and people are taking selfies with it," adding, "You can see all around, people are saying like, 'For Charlie,' they're wearing replicas of the shirt that Charlie Kirk was wearing when he was killed."

"The second thing that's happening is really a passing of the torch," Zadrozny continued.

"And that torch, as you mentioned, was being passed to his widow, Erika Kirk. Erika Kirk is now in charge of a political organization that brought in $100 million and that, you know,Donald TrumpandJD Vancecredit [it] with swinging some of the youth vote to Donald Trump," she added, referring toErika becoming TPUSA's CEO.

Following a manhunt for the suspect after the shooting in September,Tyler Robinson, 22, was latertaken into custody, and is now facing multiple charges, including aggravated murder, in connection with the late right-wing political commentator's death.
