The news comes just nine months after the pair tied the knot in March. In photos published byTMZat the time, the smitten couple was spotted dancing on the beach and celebrating their love. Bloom looked stunning in a wispy white lace bridal gown with an open back. She held her true love, going barefoot and with her dark hair in an elegant updo. Theroux looked dapper in a crisp white button-down, cream-colored suit jacket, black pants, and matching bow tie. Celebrations continued during their honeymoon in Punta Mita, Mexico.
The couple first sparked romance rumors back in February 2023 when they were seen at a Netflix event together. They confirmed their coupling in August 2023 when they werespotted kissingwhile out to dinner in New York City.
Their red carpet debut came in March 2024 at the Vanity Fair Oscars Party. For the event, they showed off their masterful couples coordination in sleek black looks, Bloom stunning in an off-the-shoulder gown with a high leg slit and Theroux looking suave in an all-black suit.
Therouxpopped the question in August 2024, getting down on one knee in Italy with a 4-carat emerald cut diamond and a band that featured both of their birthstones.
Theroux spoke about wanted to keep their relationship private and sacred during a May 2023 interview withEsquire. "I want all of my relationships to exist within the four walls of whatever room we're in," he told the publication. "Having been in a public relationship, it's much more fun not being in a public relationship."
Even so, the couple do enjoy the occasional high-profile outing, such asInStyle's Imagemaker Awardsin October. They, once again, coordinated in stunning monochromatic black looks.
