Beyoncé's youngest daughter, Rumi Carter, was justrecognizedby the 13th annual iHeartRadio Music Awards with a nomination in the category of Favorite Tour Tradition. Rumi appeared on stage with her older sister, Blue Ivy Carter, throughout Beyoncé'sCowboy Cartertour. It is her first award nomination.
The two girls would join their mother during the super star's performance of "Protector," along with Beyoncé's mom, Tina Knowles. Blue has been performing as a dancer with her mother since 2023, first arriving on stage for theRenaissanceWorld Tour. She was a lead dancer forCowboy Carter, which received its own nomination in the Favorite Tour Style.
Knowles posted about Rumi being on stage in August 2025, sharing a cute clip of the young girl performing her moves on the glittering stage, surrounded by the other dancers. In the caption Knowles celebrated her granddaughter's style and confidence, writing, "want y'all to know that Rumi❤️❤️ did all of her choreography on hr own? When I asked her, 'what are you gonna do tonight Rumi' she would reply, 'be myself' or 'it's a surprise grandma' basically respectfully saying without saying 'I got this'😂 Of course, I encouraged her to do the most 😂😂😂😂😂 We never knew what to expect. She picked out her costumes every night."
In 2024, Rumi broke aBillboard recordpreviously held by Blue Ivy, becomingthe youngest female artistto appear on the Hot 100 at only six-years-old. Her voice can be heard on "Protector." On the song, Rumi asks her mother, "Mom, can I hear the lullaby, please?"
