We won't fault Momoa for misspelling Daenerys' nickname — it has been nearly 15 years since he starred onGame of Throneswith Clarke, after all. But the two actors have remained good friends since Momoa's tragic onscreen death in the season 1 finale of HBO's hit fantasy series (Clarke's character survived until her controversial death in the final season).

The two last reunited in 2021, with both Clarke and Momoa posting about it on social media while celebratingGame of Thronesco-creator David Benioff's birthday.

"When your sun and stars rolls into town you check that he can still bench press a khaleesi," Clarke wrote on social media with a photo of him carrying her in his arms.

"MOON OF MY LIFE," Momoa responded. "You are wonderful."

Clarke later revealed that Momoa got everyone "as drunk as humanly possible" during that get-together.

"I mean, I've never tried so many different whiskeys in my entire life," the actress said weeks later. "There were a couple that were really nice, and there were a couple that were paint stripper, and I literally was like, 'Yeah I'm gonna down you, get hair on your chest.' It was funny."
