Hudson has gone on to showcase her vocal skills both as a solo artist and in her new film,Song Sung Blue. The biopic tells the story of real-life couple Mike (Hugh Jackman) and Claire Sardina (Hudson), who performed as part of a Neil Diamond tribute act called "Lightning & Thunder."
Hudson explained onThe Awardistthat she and Jackman's vocals featured in the film were all "pretty much live."
She continued, "It felt like we were in our pocket, and that's always a good feeling. But it kind of felt that way throughout the movie.
