About Our Ads Advertisement Advertisement Advertisement Mississippi State men's basketball landed a commitment from Class of 2027 small forward Jalen White on Thursday morning. The news was first reported by Robbie Faulk of State1878.
White, a native of Scottsdale, Arizona, chose the Bulldogs over 12 other Division I schools that offered, including but not limited to Washington, St. Louis, Oregon and Oklahoma State. He is rated by 247sports as the 29th small forward in the country.
"It was definitely more than I expected," White said in a statement to State1878. "It was going to be down to the coaches and how the fans are with the school. I just felt like it was home."
White becomes the second commitment to MSU's 2027 class, joining guard Jacques Mitchell of Tulsa, Oklahoma.
