UFC Vegas 123 ) , streaming live online via Paramount+ . The event goes down inside the familiar META APEX in Las Vegas, Nevada. Our main event on this Halloween event is Renato Moicano vs. Tom Nolan ( see betting odds here ).
It feels a little odd to see a UFC fight night land on Halloween. It would be nice if UFC did something to dress up for the occasion, but knowing them it will probably be business as usual.
Renato Moicano vs. Tom Nolan draw the short straw of being unable to go trick or treating with their kids this night ( are you? ). They are meeting in the main event, despite Moicano saying he was desperate to escape the APEX.
UFC Halloween's co-main event is DC's boy Jacobe Smith taking on the veteran Randy Brown ( on super short notice ). Smith has decimated all who have stood in his way so far. If he runs through Brown, then he's a real player at 170 pounds .
Rounding out UFC Halloween's main card is Ode' Osbourne vs. Cody Durden , Yana Santos vs. Luana Santos and Jean-Paul Lebosnoyani vs. Farman Hasanov .
The "Prelims" are headlined by Francis Marshall vs. Dakota Hope . The biggest match-up on that portion of the card is Zachary Reese vs. Mickey Gall , with Gall looking to avoid his fifth straight loss. Former OKTAGON two-division champ Lucia Szabova also debuts at this event. She fights Tainara Lisboa .
The rest of undercard includes Rodrigo Sezinando vs. Theodor Berggren , Julian Erosa vs. Jeong Yeong Lee ( in a retirement fight for Juicy J ), Nick Klein vs. Joseph Kropschott and Talita Alencar vs. Piera Rodriguez .
We are back in the APEX tonight and that means a return to our usual broadcast times.
UFC Halloween "Prelims" will begin at 5 p.m. ET .
UFC Halloween main card is scheduled to start at 8 p.m. ET .
All of Halloween airs on Paramount+ , which you can stream here .

Round 1: Low kick from Smith misses to start the fight. Brown keeping distance, popping jabs and feinting knees. Smith spamming throwing leg kicks. Smith landed a right hand followed by a hard body kick. Smith finally landed a power double-leg takedown with 1:32 left in the round. Brown kept Smith tied up so not much damage was landed with the takedown.
Round 1: Low kick from Durden to start the fight. Durden got cracked by Osbourne and immediately shot for a takedown. Osbourne locked up a tight guillotine, but Durden eventually defended and got out. From there, he rode Osbourne and started dropping ground-and-pound. Durden took Osbourne's back. After throwing some punches, Durden went for a face crank, but Osbourne defended. Durden tried to go for a Scottish Twister-type submission, and Osbourne defended. Durden started dropping heavy ground-and-pound, and seconds before the finish, Osbourne reversed him to end the round!
Round 2: Durden shot immediately as the round started, but Osbourne defended. The two were tied up against the fence. The two got up, and Durden took him back down and controlled him for most of the round, dropping occasional ground-and-pound. Osbourne got back to his feet with 45 seconds left and touched Durden up with a couple of straight punches.
Round 3: Body kick from Osbourne opened up the final round and soon after Durden shot for takedown. Osbourne initially defended but Durden got him down. Osbourne reversed! Durden got to the fence and was starting to get up before Osbourne jumped his back. Osbourne not really threatening anything just controlling Durden, and Durden is fine just riding out the clock. Durden eventually got out and dropped some punches to end the fight.
Official result: Durden def. Osbourne via unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28)
Round 1: Luana tried for a trip/judo takedown to start the fight, but Yana defended and put Luana against the fence … for a good two minutes with no damage. Luana tried for the trip again, but Lana defended. At 1:12, the referee separated them. Yana cracked Luana with a right hand and then put her against the fence. Just a brutal round to watch.
Round 2: The two Santos' started the second round striking before Luana landed a double-leg takedown and jumped to Yana's back. Yana almost bucked Luana off before Luana forced her back down. With two minutes left, Luana landed really no damage, just control. Luana transitioned to mount but Yana just powered back to her feet. Luana took her right back down and ended in side control.
Round 3: Yana kept at range to prevent Luana from taking her down. Luana cracked her with a couple of overhands. Luana took her down and immediately took her back. Yana again almost bucked Luana off, but the Brazilian kept her control. Lana was punching Luana with Luana stuck on her back. Lana got back into the full guard and got back to her feet against the fence. Luana forced her back down. This fight sucked, and no one will remember it in T-minus four minutes.
Official decision: L. Santos def. Y. Santos via unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28)
Round 1: JPL pressured Hasanov to start the fight. Hasanov took JPL down, and JPL jumped a guillotine, but it was defended. JPL got up and defended a head kick. JPL started peppering Hasanov with leg kicks and body kicks with jabs. Hasanov popped JPL's head back with a power jab. 2:25 left and JPL landed an overhand. Hasanov started loading up on every shot, and JPL continued to pepper him with kicks. The two exchanged combos to end the round.
Round 2: JPL marched Hasanov down with kicks again, and Hasanov took JPL down for a couple of seconds before JPL popped up. The two exchanged kicks and a couple of combos while maintaining distance. Hasanov took JPL down with 1:16 left, but again, JPL got right back up. JPL opened Hasanov up and recognized that Hasanov is tired. JPL tripped trying to go for the finish but popped up. JPL hurt Hasanov and went in for the finish and almost ate a left hook. The end is very near.
Round 3: JPL started in the gas, knowing that Hasanov is compromised. Hasanov was just backing up the entire time, throwing looping hooks. Halfway through the final frame, the doctor stepped in and halted the fight due to a nasty gash under Hasanov's eye.
Official decision: Jean-Paul Lebosnoyani def. Farman Hasanov via doctor stoppage (cut) – Round 3, 2:11
145 lbs.: Francis Marshall vs. Dakota Hope : Marshall battered Hope with like four calf kicks that hurt him. Marshall eventually took Hope down after a couple of flurries from Hope. Hope got up and stung Marshall to end the round. The second round was much more competitive as Marshall abandoned the calf kicks for whatever reason. Hope really came alive in the third round, battering Marshall on the feet and even getting the better of the grappling — and stole the fight.
Official decision: Hope defeats Marshall via split decision (29-28, 28-29, 29-28)
170 lbs.: Rodrigo Sezinando vs. Theodor Berggren : It was an extremely competitive first round for the two welterweights with tons of grappling, but Sezinando cracked Berggren with a massive spinning back fist to end the round and definitely steal it. Round 2 was all Sezinando with the constant pressure and takedowns and almost finished him with ground-and-pound at the end of the frame. The doctor ended up stopping the fight because of a nasty gash on Berggren's lip.
Official decision: Sezinando def. Berggren via doctor stoppage (cut) – Round 2, 5:00
145 lbs.: Julian Erosa vs. Jeong Yeong Lee: Lee touched Erosa's glove and immediately punched him — dirty? Kind of. Nevertheless, Erosa and Lee went to war for as long as the fight lasted, but it was Erosa who nuked Lee with a right hand and put him to sleep with ground-and-pound. Happy retirement, Julian Erosa!
Official decision: Erosa def. Lee via knockout (punches) – Round 1, 1:31
185 lbs.: Zachary Reese vs. Mickey Gall : Reese spammed body kicks for most of the fight, with Mickey throwing overhands as Reese left his chin exposed. Reese did a point deduction in the first round for an eye poke. The two basically just traded for the entirety of the fight, with Reese getting the better of the striking. Pretty forgettable fight overall.
Official decision: Reese def. Gall via unanimous decision (29-27, 29-27, 29-27)
185 lbs.: Nick Klein vs. Joseph Kropschot : Klein was doing on the feet, but every time he took Kropschot down, he got reversed and put in awful positions — and that's what ultimately ended him when Kropschot reversed him, locked Klein into an inverted triangle, and tapped him with an armbar.
Official decision: Kropschot def. Klein via submission (triangle armbar) – Round 2, 1:25
115 lbs.: Talita Alencar vs. Piera Rodriguez : Alencar had Rodriguez in trouble a few times with her elite grappling, but other than that, Alencar got clobbered on the feet by "La Fiera." Rodriguez is now riding a four-fight winning streak, while Alencar's three-fight winning streak is over.
Official decision: Rodriguez def. Alencar via unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27)
125 lbs.: Lucia Szabova vs. Tainara Lisboa : Szabova was the biggest favorite on the card, and while at points she didn't look like it, she ended up overpowering and breaking Lisboa to stop her with heavy ground-and-pound. Szabova is a great addition to the Flyweight division and one to keep an eye on.
Official decision: Lucia Szabova def. Tainara Lisboa via TKO — Round 3, 3:20
