Still basking in the afterglow of their maiden WNBA title, Gabby Williams and four of her Golden State Valkyries teammates on Wednesday found out where they would be playing in Unrivaled for the 2027 season.
Unrivaled has become a popular offseason option for many of the WNBA's top players. Forty-eight players were assigned to six teams on Wednesday night as the 3-on-3 league prepares for its biggest season yet -- which will see games played in Boston, Detroit, Inglewood and Philadelphia in addition to Miami.

Williams, a new addition to the league, was just named Finals MVP after an instantly iconic 30-point performance in Game 7 against the Atlanta Dream . She is joining Laces BC, alongside playoff adversary Jackie Young, and her partner Marine Johannes.
Guard Veronica Burton has added a WNBA title to her Unrivaled championship last year. She is staying with Mist BC , as she was one of her club's two protected players who could not be selected in the league's snake draft.
Veteran Tiffany Hayes was an injury replacement last season as she stepped in for Aliyah Boston. Hayes now is a full-fledged member of Phantom BC , which lost in the championship game last March.
Kaitlyn Chen, another new arrival to Unrivaled, will look to bring her infectious energy to Breeze BC . Finally, forward Kayla Thornton will join Rose BC , the league's inaugural champion in 2025.
