Mackeeper knows what’s up. The pop-rock brothers, Miles Cohen and Nick Harwood have a double act that is full of swag and bravado. Their no-skips debut album, Believe You Me , dropped on October 16, letting critics in on the secret that anyone paying attention has known for a while—the guys are total stars. On the eve of Halloween, they tore it up at Nightclub 101. In the front row of the sold-out room, Lorde thrashed her head in devil horns, Porches got the crowd moshing, and mid-set, Dev Hynes vaulted onto the stage to play guitar. The guys love making music and seemingly they just can’t stop. The duo dropped a new single on YouTube just two weeks after their album came out, so it seems like we might have enough Mackeeper to keep us going until the end of the year. Before they jet off to Europe to win over some new fans on tour, I sent the pair a little questionnaire involving some hard hitting questions about regrets, plane food, and their beauty routines.
NH: White fish on a bialy with tomato and capers from Kossars.
NH: Fuck the audience, marry the audience, kill the audience. We say that before every show.
On a flight, are you having chicken or pasta?
MC: Last time I got the pasta and Nick got the chicken. He totally won. I’m chicken from now on.
If you could have dinner with anyone who would it be?
MC: Haus Labs and water. Are you interested in furniture?
