Camilla Luddingtonhas fond memories of starring asKate Middletonin a “cute movie” 15 years ago.

TheGrey's Anatomystarchatted exclusively PEOPLE about her experience portraying the Princess of Wales in the 2011 Lifetime film,William & Kate: The Movie, including the “really funny” day she had filming the kissing scene with costar Nico Evers-Swindell, who played Prince William.

"I think honestly ... oh my God, there’s a scene where Kate jumps into the water and swims to William. And I just remember it being freezing cold water," recalled Luddington, 42, while revealing her most memorable moment from the project.

"And it was so cold that we had to kiss that I was like, 'My lips are numb. I'm not even feeling the kiss at all.' That was a really funny filming day," she added of kissing Evers-Swindell, 47. "I had a blast though. We literally filmed it in three weeks and we all got so close and it was just such a cute movie and people still talk to me about it and enjoy it."

William & Kate: The Moviewas released on April 18, 2011, just days before thereal-life couple held their weddingat Westminster Abbey in London on April 29 that year.

Although Luddington portrayed Princess Kate in the movie, the two have never crossed paths over the years. "No, I have not met her. And I'm confused why I had not been invited to the palace, honestly," she told PEOPLE.

Luddington previously spoke about the movie's reception during aninterviewwithConan O'Brienon his talk show in 2014.

"People really liked it here, but then they showed it in England. I was curious, a Lifetime movie's a very specific kind of entertainment. How did it go over in England?" he asked her.

"Well, we don't have Lifetime in England, so they don't understand that Lifetime movies are cheesy and guilty pleasure," Luddington responded. "In England, I knew I was screwed with the reviews before it even came out because they were comparing it to the nextKing's Speech."

The 2010 film, a drama that centered around King George VI, won an Oscar for Best Picture, but was a very different tone to Lifetime'sWilliam & Kate: The Movie.

"I was like, 'Oh my god,' " Luddington said. "They thought it was going to be like a serious drama, maybe slightly controversial, and then it came out. And they were like, 'What is this?' — including my family."

She explained that her family thought it was "interesting" and O'Brien joked that "interesting's never a good word."

"I told them not to send me reviews," she replied. "They took great joy in sending me so many horrible reviews. I would say, 'Please, please don't send me anything.' And they'd be like, 'What, like this 1-star theDaily Mailgave you?' and they'd take a picture of it and send it to me. It was horrible. They thought it was hysterically funny, but it was humiliating."

Sid Krofft, 'H.R. Pufnstuf' creator and children's TV visionary, dies at 96

NEW YORK (AP) — Sid Krofft, the Canadian-born entertainment wizard who teamed with his brother and fellow puppeteerMarty Krofftto create such cult favorites as children's 1960s TV show “H.R. Pufnstuf,” has died at age 96.

Krofft's death, which came three years after the death of Marty Krofft, was announced on Instagram by his friend and business partner Kelly Killian. Additional details were not immediately available.

“The last six years of my life were devoted to him, and his to me,” Killian wrote. “In that time, he taught me more than I could ever put into words — about the art of Hollywood, the magic of the stage, and the depth and complexity of human nature. I wish so very much that I had more time with him.”

The Kroffts popularized cultural figures ranging from the inept Weenie the Genie to siblings Donny and Marie Osmond.

TV fans of a certain age would long remember “H.R. Pufnstuf,” the live-action puppet series with its cheerful theme song, the dragon who gave the show its name — and served as Mayor of Living Island — and such memorable, supporting characters as the larcenous witch Wilhelmina W. Witchiepoo, and her patented Vroom Broom. “H.R. Pufnstuf” only aired for 17 episodes, in 1969, but lived on for decades in reruns and syndication. It ranked 27th in a 2007 TV Guide poll of all-time cult favorites.

Other Krofft productions included “Land of the Lost,” “Electra Woman and Dyna Girl” and “Pryor’s Place,” featuringcomedian Richard Pryor. Their children's shows were so far-flung at times that critics suspected the Kroffts were under the influence of drugs — allegations the brothers rejected — but they also oversaw such wholesome programming as the “Donny & Marie,” the Osmonds' 1970s variety show.

The Kroffts received a Daytime Emmy for lifetime achievement in 2018, and a Hollywood Walk of Fame star two years later.

Attorney for suspect in attack at Sam Altman’s home says he was in midst of 'mental health crisis'

SAN FRANCISCO (AP) — The man accused of trying to killOpenAICEO Sam Altman by throwing a Molotov cocktail at his San Francisco home was experiencing a mental health crisis and has been overcharged by prosecutors, his public defender said Tuesday.

Associated Press

Daniel Moreno-Gama made his first court appearance on state charges with disheveled hair and wearing an orange jail uniform. The 20-year-old, whose attorney said is autistic, kept his gaze down during the brief hearing and softly answered “yes” when asked by a judge whether he agreed to continue his arraignment. San Francisco Judge Kenneth Wine ordered him held without bail and set his arraignment for May 5.

Authorities say Moreno-Gama, of Spring, Texas, hurled the incendiary deviceat Altman’s home Friday, setting an exterior gate on fire before fleeing on foot. Less than an hour later, Moreno-Gama went to OpenAI’s headquarters about 3 miles (5 kilometers) away and threatened to burn down the building, they said. They said he traveled to the city from Texas.

No one was injured at Altman’s home or the company's offices. San Francisco Deputy Public Defender Diamond Ward called the case a “property crime, at best,” and said that prosecutors are pursuing higher charges to curry favor for Altman. Moreno-Gama also faces federal charges.

“It is unfair and is unjust for the San Francisco district attorney and the federal government to fearmonger and to exploit the mental illness of a vulnerable, young man by turning a vandalism case into an attempted murder, life exposure case to gain support of a billionaire, and to get political points at the expense of true justice for everyone involved,” Ward said.

San Francisco District Attorney Brooke Jenkins disputed that he was overcharged, saying Moreno-Gama carried out a “targeted attack on Mr. Altman” and that prosecutors had evidence to back up the charges. She said prosecutors would act the same whether the victim was a “billionaire or a CEO or any average San Franciscan.”

“Regardless of a victim's status, they all deserve justice and they all deserve safety,” she said.

Moreno-Gama’s parents said in a statement he has never harmed anyone and recently began having mental health issues.

“We have been trying our best to address these issues and get him effective treatment, and we are very concerned for his well-being,” they said.

Authorities said Moreno-Gama, who works part-time at a pizzeria and is attending community college, expressed hatred ofartificial intelligencein his writings, describing it as a danger to humanity and warning of “impending extinction,” according to court filings.

“This was not spontaneous. This was planned, targeted and extremely serious,” FBI San Francisco Acting Special Agent in Charge Matt Cobo said during a news conference Monday.

Moreno-Gama is charged in California state court with two counts of attempted murder and attempted arson. He tried to kill both Altman and a security guard at Altman’s residence, Jenkins alleged. Officials have not said whether Altman was home at the time, prosecutors said.

Jenkins said the state charges carry penalties ranging from 19 years to life in prison.

On Monday morning, FBI agents went to Moreno-Gama’s home in a Houston suburb where they spent several hours before leaving. He has also been charged by federal prosecutors with possession of an unregistered firearm and damage and destruction of property by means of explosives. Those charges carry respective penalties of up to 10 years and 20 years in prison.

“We will treat this as an act of domestic terrorism, and together with our partners, prosecute him to the fullest extent of the law,” U.S. Attorney Craig Missakian said.

The document in which Moreno-Gama discussed his opposition to AI also made threats against Altman and executives at other AI companies, officials said.

“If I am going to advocate for others to kill and commit crimes, then I must lead by example and show that I am fully sincere in my message,” Moreno-Gama wrote, according to authorities.

Advocacy groups that have issued grave warnings about AI’s risks to society condemned the violence.

Anthony Aguirre, president and CEO of the Future of Life Institute, said in a written statement Friday that “violence and intimidation of any kind have no place in the conversation about the future of AI.”

Another group, PauseAI, said in a statement that the suspect had no role in the group but joined its forum on the social media platform Discord about two years ago and posted about 34 messages there, none containing explicit calls to violence but one that was flagged as “ambiguous.”

Discord said Monday that it has banned Moreno-Gama for “off-platform behavior.”

Nico Hoerner and Alex Bregman each had three RBIs for the Cubs.

Edmundo Sosa homered for the Phillies.

Chicago broke a 3-all tie with four runs in the sixth inning off Tim Mayza (0-1). Hoerner and Bregman each had two-run singles in the inning and the Cubs were aided by a Phillies miscue.

After Mayza put runners on first and second with one out with a walk and hit batter, Dansby Swanson hit a hard grounder back to the pitcher that was a potential double play. Mayza threw slightly off target to second base, and Bryson Stott could not make the catch. Stott was charged with a fielding error on the play. Instead of runners on first and second with two outs, or an inning-ending double play, Chicago had the bases loaded with one out.

Hoerner made Philadelphia pay with a liner to center. After Brad Keller replaced Mayza, Bregman knocked in two more runs.

Rea (2-0) followed opener Riley Martin, who worked a 1-2-3 first. He surrendered Sosa’s three-run homer to left-center that gave the Phillies a 3-0 lead before retiring 16 of the next 17 batters, including 10 in a row to close his outing. Rea struck out five and walked none.

Philadelphia got a run back in the eighth and threatened for more with the bases loaded and two outs, but Caleb Thielbar struck out pinch-hitter Alec Bohm to end the inning. Kyle Schwarber extended his on-base streak to 15 games with a one-out single in the inning.

Kelly made it a six-run advantage with his first homer of the season in the ninth off Tanner Banks.

Phillies starter Aaron Nola lasted five innings, allowing three runs on eight hits.

Trump says he is 'not a big fan' of 'weak' and 'terrible' Pope Leo

“I don’t think he’s doing a very good job. He likes crime, I guess,” Trump told reporters at Joint Base Andrews when asked about his lengthy Truth Social post Sunday night criticizing the pontiff.

“We don’t like a pope that’s going to say that it’s okay to have a nuclear weapon. We don’t want a pope that says crime is okay in our cities. I don’t like it. I’m not a big fan of Pope Leo,” Trump added.

The Vatican did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

The pope last week criticized Trump's public threats to “wipe out” Iranian civilization, saying that“attacks on civilian infrastructure is against international law,” and urging people to contact leaders and congressmen to call for peace. He has urged Trump to end the war in Iran, andlamented in his Easter messagelast week that the world is “becoming indifferent” to violence. Leo hadalso previously criticizedthe Trump administration’s immigration policies.

“Leo should be thankful because, as everyone knows, he was a shocking surprise. He wasn’t on any list to be Pope, and was only put there by the Church because he was an American, and they thought that would be the best way to deal with President Donald J. Trump. If I wasn’t in the White House, Leo wouldn’t be in the Vatican,” Trump said in aTruth Social post.

Trump hasn't always been critical of Leo. At the time, Trump called the pope'sMay 2025 election"an honor for our country."

"It’s such a great honor for our country to have an American pope. I mean, what greater honor could there be? That we were a little bit surprised, very happy. But just a great, absolutely great honor," Trump said at the time.

AMarch NBC News pollfound U.S. voters viewed Pope Leo more favorably than the president. 42% of respondents said they had a positive view of the pope, while just 8% had a negative view of him. While 41% of respondents said they had a positive view of Trump, 53% said they had a negative view of him.

Report: Preakness Stakes' traditional date likely to move

In a move that could prompt more horses to shoot for the Triple Crown, the Preakness Stakes probably will move back one week on the calendar beginning next year, Sports Business Journal reported on Monday.

Field Level Media

The Triple Crown jewel at Pimlico Race Course in Baltimore has been held two weeks after the Kentucky Derby for the past 75 years -- the third Saturday in May.

However, possibly due to the quick turnaround between two of the sports' biggest races, the Kentucky Derby winners in 2022 (Rich Strike) and 2025 (Sovereignty) passed on running the Preakness and instead focused on the third Triple Crown race, the Belmont Stakes at Belmont Park in Elmont, N.Y.

Rich Strike came in sixth in the Belmont. Three years later, Sovereignty prevailed in the Belmont.

Per the report, the date change is being floated as part of media-rights negotiations. NBC Sports holds the Preakness rights through this year, with NBC, Fox Sports, Amazon and Netflix all vying for the future deal, per SBJ.

Whether the Belmont also would change its date from three weeks after the Preakness is also up in the air pending future media contracts, according to the report.

Fox, the rights holder for the next six runnings of the Belmont, would prefer to have three weeks between each of the Triple Crown races, SBJ reported.

The Preakness Stakes, first contested in 1873, is run over 1 3/16 miles. The Kentucky Derby is 1 1/4 miles, and the Belmont caps the Triple Crown at the length of 1 1/2 miles.

For the first time in the race's history, the 2026 Preakness Stakes will be held at Laurel Park (Md.), due to construction at Pimlico. The 151st running will take place on Saturday, May 16.
