Roy Keane has blasted Marcus Rashford for behaving like 'an idiot' after the Manchester United star missed coaching final week following a boozy night time out in Belfast.
The 26-year-old missed coaching last Friday after reporting in unwell and sat out of Sunday's FA Cup win over Newport County consequently.
But it later emerged Rashford was out at a Belfast night club on Thursday night, leaving the Northern Irish capital simply hours before he was on account of arrive back in Manchester for coaching.
Rashford was fined two weeks' wages with the club and Erik ten Hag insisting the 'matter is now closed'. He is expected to be included within the squad for Thursday's Premier League recreation towards Wolves.
Former United captain Keane sympathised with the under-fire star, believing he has been an 'straightforward target' throughout a troublesome season for the membership.
While admitting each participant can make 'daft errors', Keane believes Rashford has allowed too many to happen this season.
'I don't assume he [Marcus Rashford] was ever that good,' Keane informed the Stick to Football podcast.

'I never thought he had some halo above his head, but I also don't assume for one minute that he's some type of nasty lad.
