A staple American fast food chain is set to close 140 of its locations before Christmas. Wendy's announced that it will be shuttering a number of 'outdated' and 'underperforming' locations in the next two months. The chain, known for its burgers and Frosty desserts, has not yet provided a list of the restaurants set to close. Wendy's CEO Kirk Tanner said the decision to close underperforming locations came as a result of the company's weak financial performance.
