Kentucky father dramatically arrested getting off Florida cruise ship after 10 years on the run
A deadbeat dad from Kentucky who's avoided paying child support for ten years was dramatically arrested after getting off a cruise ship in Miami. Dominic Weaver, 47, was cuffed and taken into custody last week when the ship docked in the Florida port. He was transported from Miami to the Louisville Metro Department of Corrections where he remains behind bars. Jefferson County Attorney Mike O'Connell told local affiliate WDRB that Weaver owes roughly $114,000 to $120,000 in unpaid child support for four children.
