Walgreens abruptly announces closure of 12 stores in major West Coast city

Walgreens has announced they will be closing 12 of their stores across San Francisco in the coming weeks. The pharmacy chain will start shuttering stories in the California city at the end of February. Spokesperson Marty Maloney disclosed that the closing stores would have their last business days between February 24 and February 27. Maloney revealed the stores set to close are Bayview, Downtown/Civic Center, Ingleside, Inner Richmond, Marina, Mission, Nob Hill, Outer Sunset, Parkside, SoMa, and two at Western Addition.
