Arizona issues groveling apology to BYU after basketball fans' foul-mouthed Mormon chant in stands
Arizona became the second college basketball program to apologize for anti-Mormon chanting this season after the Wildcats lost to BYU on Saturday. BYU is the most prominent Mormon school in the United States, with the school sponsored by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. And after the Cougars pulled off a 96-95 overtime win at No. 19 Arizona, the home fans took aim at their visitors' religion.
