College basketball star kicked off team as promising career comes to an end in shocking fashion
A former four-star college basketball journeyman has been kicked off his team in what will likely signal an end to his career at this level of the sport. Andre Curbelo, a show-stopping point guard who previously played on Illinois and St. John's, has been kicked off the team at Southern Mississippi. The move was announced by Golden Eagles head coach Jay Ladner following a loss to Louisiana-Lafayette on Saturday evening.
