If you suffer from a sluggish system, for instance, sleeping on your left side could help, sleep adviser Lisa Artis has recommended. 'This position encourages the natural flow of food and waste through your digestive system,' she said. This allows gravity to move waste from the small intestine to the large intestine more efficiently.
