Patrick Mahomes was seen attending his grandfather's funeral in Texas on Monday following his death at the age of 78 last week. Randy Mahomes, the father of Patrick's mother Randi, passed away on Friday after battling an unknown illness in recent months. His death came just five days after Patrick, 29, and the Kansas City Chiefs' Super Bowl defeat to the Philadelphia Eagles on February 9. The Chiefs quarterback made the trip to Henderson, Texas, on Monday for Randy's funeral, where he was seen alongside younger brother Jackson, 24.
