Slack is down across the US as users report widespread outage
Slack has gone down across the US, leaving users unable to communicate with colleagues in the middle of a workday. The company's status page shows issues hit at 10:27am ET and about 21 minutes later Slack determined 'a variety of API endpoints, sending/receiving messages, and some threads loading are also impacted. Slack is used by more than 33 million people to collaborate and communicate at work, but the outage means many businesses may have to put tasks on hold.
