USAID funded college tuition for jihadist who later became central figure of al Qaeda
The most reckless use of taxpayer-funds under the United States Agency for International Development was revealed as it became known that the agency paid college tuition for a jihadist who later became a central al Qaeda figure. Recently resurfaced documents obtained by Fox News show the embattled agency paid American-born terrorist Anwar al-Awlaki's tuition for Colorado State University - years before he was killed in an American drone strike.
