Whoopi Goldberg got a shocked reaction out of transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney when she said female athletes 'know what they're doing.' The passionate discussion on the latest episode of The View was initially focused on biological men who identify as females participating in women's sports. Goldberg asked for Mulvaney's thoughts on California Governor Gavin Newsom saying last week that transgender athletes competing in women's sports was 'deeply unfair.' Mulvaney, 28, who came out as trans in March 2022, deflected the question by saying she isn't an athlete and isn't all that knowledgeable about sports.
