A Texas family is livid that their mentally disabled son was locked up in jail and charged as an adult for allegedly attacking his school teacher. Peter Brown, 17, was arrested from his Brazosport Independent School district (ISD) classroom and taken to Brazoria County Jail with a bail set a $100,000 last Thursday. He was charged with one count of assault of a public servant other than a peace officer or judge.
