Hearthside Food Solutions recalls breakfast sandwiches as USDA issues urgent warning over deadly allergen
Close to 500,000 pounds of breakfast sandwiches have been recalled over a 'misbranding' error which saw sesame included in the products without proper warnings. Sesame can be deadly to people with certain allergies, prompting the urgent warning to consumers across the United States. Hearthside Food Solutions has urgently recalled 489,887 pounds worth of sausage and bacon breakfast sandwiches. Most of the products were sent to Army & Air Force Exchange Services (AAFES) locations around the nation.
