From preseason Heisman hopeful to QB13, former Texas quarterback Quinn Ewers suffered a slide that wouldn't have made sense to college football fans a few months ago. After a season at Texas where he struggled at times but finished with a College Football Playoff appearance, Ewers turned down a reported $8m NIL offer to transfer from the Longhorns and play another season at the collegiate level. Instead, he entered the draft process and was one of the final picks of the proceedings - being selected 231st overall by the Miami Dolphins - and will earn significantly less.
