Pioneering black female doctor, 87, attacked at her mansion... and identity of suspect has left family heartbroken
A pioneering black female doctor, 87, who once taught at Howard University, was found dead in her home on Sunday after her grandson allegedly confessed to killing her. The disturbing sequence of events began early on Sunday morning when Spencer Dillon Hamilton, 27, walked into the Rockville City Police Station in Maryland, some 16 miles outside Washington, DC. He had allegedly confessed to killing his grandmother, Pauline Yvonne Titus-Dillon, before Montgomery County police officers rushed to the mansion.
