Why the housing market in some cities is drastically dropping in price
If you're house hunting in Florida, now might be the time to look again. That is because new analysis shows that many of the top 10 areas where home prices are falling are in the Sunshine State. And some are falling fast — with Sarasota County seeing the biggest drop at 7.3 percent. Charlotte and Lee counties were second and third on the list, with 7.2 percent and 6 percent dips, respectively Other Florida areas seeing declines include Manatee, Collier, Pasco, and Pinellas counties, which hug the Gulf of America.
