Reality personality Jordyn Woods is happily moving on from the past as she announces she is newly engaged to NBA star Karl-Anthony Towns.
The happy couple made the announcement in a jointInstagrampost on Thursday, captioned "Marry Christmas 🎄❤️💍" with a carousel of images capturing the proposal. The pair got engaged after five years together at Overstory, a rooftop cocktail bar on the 64th floor of a New York City skyscraper offering stunning views of the city.
It was an especially eventful day for Towns as his team, the New York Knicks, defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers in a 126-124 victory at Madison Square Garden in a Christmas Day game just hours before the couple shared their big news.

Woods, 28, and Towns, 30, went Instagram official in September 2020, but had known each other for years before that.
Before being linked to Towns, Woods was a reality TV star, appearing on the shows of her famous former best friendKylie Jenner, includingLife of Kyliein 2017 and multiple episodes ofKeeping Up With the Kardashiansfrom 2015–2019.
Then in February 2019, Woods found herself on the outs with the entire Kardashian clan after sheallegedly hooked upwith basketball player Tristan Thompson who was dating Jenner's older sister Khloé Kardashian and was father to Kardashian's daughter True (they later had son Tatum via surrogate). Kardashian and Thompson split amid the cheating scandal while Woods and Jenner went from inseparable to incommunicado.
Woods found herself the subject of tabloid gossip and Kardashian-Jenner fan scorn. She publicly addressed the scandal the following month on an episode of Jada Pinkett-Smith'sRed Table Talk.(Woods' dad, the late John Woods, worked as a sound engineer onThe Fresh Prince of Bel-Air,and she has remained close with star Will Smith's family.)
During the appearance, Woods admitted to being drunk and partying at Thompson's house until "6 in the morning." She said the NBA star kissed her on the way out, but denied that it was anything intimate, describing it as, "No passion, no nothing, on the way out. He just kissed me. Like a kiss on the lips, no tongue kiss, no making out, nothing."
She also strongly denied that anything more physical had happened between her and Thompson, but told Pinkett-Smith that she was "in shock" afterward and decided to "just pretend like that didn't happen" by keeping it from Jenner and Kardashian.
"I allowed myself to be in that position. And when alcohol is involved people make dumb moves, or people get caught up in the moment or who knows," she explained.

Later that year Jenner unfollowed her former bestie on social media and sided with her sister on camera, telling her family Woods "f---ed up" during an episode of their reality show.
Since the scandal, Woods showed off her vocal chops by competing asKangaroo onThe Masked Singerseason 3. She and Jenner seemed to reconcile in 2023, when they werephotographedleaving a restaurant together in Los Angeles.
