"I had fun but my mom stole the show," Jordan joked during a Monday visit toJimmy Kimmel Live. "I'm pretty sure all her girlfriends are like texting her and sending her every meme and every clip possible."
In a reaction that made the rounds online, Jordan's mom appeared a little uncomfortable after hostNikki Glasermade a NSFW quip about her son.
"InSinners, Michael played two brothers," Glaser began. "And I can't believe it. We got two Michael B. Jordans! When I saw that, I was like, Nikki B. Jerking, because that was awesome."
The show then cut to where the actor and his mother were seated. While Jordan hid his face with a laugh, Donna wasn't smiling as she looked away and took a sip of water.
During the Monday sit-down, Kimmel tried to unpack the awkward moment, asking Jordan, "Does your mom get uncomfortable when women openly lust after you?"
TheCreedalum, who was namedPEOPLE's Sexiest Man Alivein 2020, shrugged. "I think by now she's used to it," he admitted. "So she just gives a little eyeroll and just kinda keeps it pushing. She doesn't really respond too much."
He went on to affirm that the duo had a great time partying after the show, in celebration ofSinners, which picked up two wins for Cinematic and Box Office Achievement and Best Original Score.

"She can hang," he told Kimmel when asked about the drawbacks of bringing his mom to award shows. "We went out afterwards, we went to an afterparty, we had a little fun, she was dancing and stuff. Mama had a good time. I don't really think it's a downside to bringing mom to an event, only upside."
