The scandal surrounding the formerPrince Andrew's ties to Jeffrey Epstein continues to plague the royal family during outings, includingPrince William's trip to Saudi Arabia.

The Prince of Wales, 43, is currently on a three-day royal tour in Saudi Arabia at the request of the U.K. government. On Tuesday, Feb. 10, the heir was on his way to MISK Sports City in Riyadh to meet with young people in their sports programs when he walked past a group of onlookers, including some journalists.

One reporter raised their voice to ask, "Sir, to what extent do you think the royal family has done enough around the Andrew and Epstein issue?" as seen in a video shared byExpress.

It was unclear whether Prince William heard the question, but he did not respond.

This latest incident comes just one day after Prince William and his wife,Kate Middleton, 44, broke their silence on the controversy surrounding Andrew andnew details of his relationshipwith Epstein, amid the release of new Epstein files by the U.S. Department of Justice.

On Feb. 9, William and Katereleased a statementvia a spokesperson that read, "I can confirm the Prince and Princess have been deeply concerned by the continuing revelations. Their thoughts remain focused on the victims."

The Prince and Princess of Wales wereheckled about Andrewduring their joint visit to Scotland late last month. As they shook hands with locals outside of a pub in Fallin on Jan. 20, an onlooker repeatedly yelled, "How long have you known about Andrew and Epstein?"

Footage of the moment was shared onXby Republic, a group calling for the abolishment of the monarchy in the U.K.

King Charles, 77, andQueen Camilla, 78, have also beenheckled and publicly askedabout Andrew multiple times in recent weeks.

During a visit to Essex on Feb. 5, the royals werequestioned about their thoughtson a possible police investigation of Andrew. The day prior,the Queen was askedif she had a message for the Epstein victims as she arrived for a visit at a London primary school

While they haven't responded to the questions in public, theKing also shared a statement via Buckingham Palaceon Feb. 9.

In his statement, the monarch specifically responded to the recent news that Andrew may be facing a police inquiry over allegations that heshared confidential informationrelated to his role as a trade envoy with Epstein.

"The King has made clear, in words and through unprecedented actions, his profound concern at allegations which continue to come to light in respect of Mr. Mountbatten-Windsor's conduct," the palace said in the statement.

"While the specific claims in question are for Mr. Mountbatten-Windsor to address, if we are approached by Thames Valley Police, we stand ready to support them as you would expect," it continued.

"As was previously stated, Their Majesties' thoughts and sympathies have been, and remain with, the victims of any and all forms of abuse," the palace concluded.
