Passengers were left in uproar after 'horrendous' American Airlines flight that made a dramatic U-turn mid-journey as they battled 'unhelpful' staff to find out information. Flight 73 took off from Los Angeles at 10.30pm on Wednesday on its way to Sydney before turning back around over the Pacific Ocean at 11.02pm, according to flight data. Travelers said they had no warning when the plane turned around, and even the flight attendants had no idea what was going on.
