Chiefs star breaks silence on viral clip of Patrick Mahomes ignoring him after Super Bowl humiliation
Kansas City Chiefs running back Samaje Perine has spoken out for the first time on the viral video of Patrick Mahomes appearing to reject a handshake with him at the end of the Super Bowl. Fans spotted the Chiefs quarterback Mahomes shaking hands with several members of the team's offense when the game was lost but he appeared to pass over Perine to hug Travis Kelce. There was no obvious reason for Perine to be snubbed by his quarterback, leaving fans to wonder if something had occurred behind the scenes.
