Shocking police body camera footage shows how Toronto cops mishandled a domestic violence victim's case, which prosecutors say ultimately resulted in her murder. Daniella Mallia, 23, called police on August 15, 2022 to her apartment complex to request a restraining order against her ex-boyfriend, Dylon Dowman, with whom she had been in an on-and-off relationship for five years, the Toronto Star reports. She then showed Constables Sang Youb Lee and Anson Alfonso text messages she said Dowman had sent her, including, 'You still breathing cause I say so' and 'Ain't no coming back from death.
