
Veteran 60 Minutes correspondent Scott Pelley has been slammed for his on-air rebuke of his CBS bosses. Pelley, who makes an estimated $5 million per year, used the broadcast's final segment on Sunday night to address the sudden resignation of the show's executive producer, Bill Owens. However, he quickly pivoted to condemning CBS parent company Paramount Global for taking a more active role in the show's journalism claiming their interest is a desperate bid to secure political favor from the Trump administration.
