Vice President JD Vance fired back at Sen. Mitch McConnell on Tuesday after the former Senate majority leader voted against President Donald Trump's choice for Pentagon policy chief, Elbridge Colby. The vice president engaged after McConnell detailed his decision in a statement condemning Colby's views on foreign policy. 'Mitch's vote today — like so much of the last few years of his career — is one of the great acts of political pettiness I've ever seen,' Vance wrote on social media.
