Major baby brand issues second recall after dangerous product remains on shelves
Gerber has issued a second nationwide recall of its edible teething sticks after discovering the products were still available for purchase on store shelves. The well-known baby company initially recalled and discontinued its 'Sooth N Chew' teething sticks on January 31. The first recall was sent out after the company received customer complaints about choking, including one incident that led to an emergency room visit. However, Gerber issued a second recall on Friday after recent reports revealed that the products were still being sold on some retailers' shelves and online, according to the FDA.
