Four people died inside a Lake Tahoe home after ingesting fentanyl that they believed was cocaine. Brothers Adam and Clifford Joy, 35 and 37, Abraham Lemus and Keely Pereira all died inside Adam Joy's house after buying what they were told was cocaine. Unbeknownst to them, they had been sold fentanyl and all fatally overdosed on the killer opioid. The group of friends had been watching the Super Bowl at a party in South Lake Tahoe in February 2024 when they all died.
