A Google executive has revealed the terrifyingly fast pace at which artificial intelligence is advancing, predicting AI will have all the capabilities that humans do within the next decade. Demis Hassabis, the CEO of DeepMind at Google, shared on a Sunday's episode of 60 Minutes he believes scientists are on track to create Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) within the next five to ten years. AGI refers to artificial intelligence with software that rivals the cognitive ability of a human.
