A man has been left 'mind blown' after discovering what the middle metal part of scissors are used for. Taking to Reddit, on a thread called 'Does Anyone Know?' the anonymous user shared a picture of a pair of scissors and asked: 'Does anyone know what this part of the scissors is for?' Hundreds of people then replied saying they are known as 'kitchen shears' and have multiple purposes.
