Kate Middleton's Christmas outfit had a hidden connection to a turning point of her cancer journey.
On Dec. 25, the Princess of Wales, 43, sported her bespoke Blaze Milano coat for the Morning Service at Church of St. Mary Magdalene on the Sandringham Estate, which she attended withPrince Williamand their children,Prince George, 12,Princess Charlotte, 10, andPrince Louis, 7.
It was symbolic for Princess Kate to wear the burgundy plaid coat at the end of year defined by recovery, as shemost notably wore itat the start of 2025 for thesurprise stop at the London hospital where she previously received treatment for cancer.
In January, Princess Katemade an unannounced visit to The Royal Marsden Hospital's Chelsea site, where she met patients currently undergoing treatment and staff working across the hospital.

The outing came with the confirmation that she received treatment from The Royal Marsden during her owncancer journeyand had become a Joint Patron of the The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust withPrince William.
Following the stop, the Princess of Wales announced that she was "in remission" afterundergoing treatment for cancerin 2024. Princess Kate shared that news about her health in March 2024, reduced her royal duties and said that September that she completedchemotherapy treatment.
In the January update, Princess Kate wrote in part onXthen, "It is a relief to now be in remission and I remain focussed on recovery. As anyone who has experienced a cancer diagnosis will know, it takes time to adjust to a new normal. I am however looking forward to a fulfilling year ahead. There is much to look forward to. Thank you to everyone for your continued support. C"
