Honeymoon-bound newlyweds are killed in horror crash that orphaned their one-year-old son
A couple heading to their honeymoon after marrying only days earlier died in a horrific crash in Colorado that also killed the bride's mother and left their one-year-old child orphaned. Ruben Rodriguez, 33, and Juliana Rodriguez Plata, 37, were driving with their son and the bride's parents westbound down I-70 in Wheat Ridge outside Denver around 8:30am on Thursday when a semi-truck carry pipes overturned. The truck's load spilled across both sides of the highway, causing at least three vehicles to crash, Denver 7 reported.
